On Thursday 23rd April 2026, we were delighted to welcome Environment Minister Andrew Muir MLA and Eoin Tennyson MLA to St Mary's. The children were delighted they could attend our assembly which was led by our Eco Council and focused on Lough Neagh, especially the growing impact of blue-green algae on our environment, wild life and water quality. Minister Andrew Muir MLA and Eoin Tennyson MLA were able to talk with the children and see first hand, the important work that is being carried out.
We would like to thank them for taking time to speak and listen to our children in what was a very memorable day.
