Anna, one of our hardworking Eco School members, has taken a real lead in the Eco Committee this year, working closely with her fellow Eco members and her peers to learn more about Lough Neagh. Together, they’ve been exploring the growing problem of blue‑green algae and how it’s affecting the lough, the wildlife, and the water itself.
The children also looked into the different ways Lough Neagh is used and learned about the environmental challenges it’s facing today.
Their work, along with Anna’s impressive video, helps shine a light on why it’s so important to look after and protect this special place.
